Dr. Woodrow Morrison

Board Member

Dr. Woodrow Morrison, BA, JD (Haida, Cherokee) is a lifelong traditional story keeper and cultural artist as well as veteran and environmental attorney. He has three Haida names and was also given his grandfather’s Tlingit name, Raven that Flies until the last Totem Pole Falls. He holds a BA in Economics and Sociology from the University of Minnesota and a Juris Doctorate from the University of New Mexico School of Law. He continues to serve his community in Vancouver BC, Canada as a facilitator and cultural leader to Alaskan Native families through the Circle of Boys, Children with Emotional Problems, and Strengthening Fathers Programs at Vancouver Aboriginal Child and Family Services Society.
