New partnership with Oregon Tilth

Oregon Tilth has offered a five-year partnership with Elderberry Wisdom Farm to support their Northwest Regional Transition to Organic Partnership Program (“NW TOPP”). We plan to contact tribes, Native organizations/farmers/ranchers in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho to support their transition to organic production. We will plan and hold conference workshops, farm tours, and provide one-on-one technical assistance to our Native partners. Farm tours are planned at three sites in Oregon and Washington during 2023-2024. Conference workshop events are also being planned, including at the 2024 OSU Small Farm Conference and upcoming NW Food Sovereignty Network gatherings.

Oregon Tilth Mission: Our mission to make our food system and agriculture biologically sound and socially equitable requires us to find practical ways to tackle big challenges. Today, we look for opportunities to bring everyone to the table – farmers, processors, government agencies, nonprofits, businesses and consumers – to find the best solutions to meet challenges head on.
