Native Plant Nursery Coordinator

Greetings, community!

Over the last two weeks, the Elderberry Wisdom Farm staff has been planning for the arrival of 8 Summer Interns who will be  working and learning with us this summer. We have drafted and reviewed and finalized lesson plans and work plans, focusing on how to engage our cohort and make sure they are excited about the work we are doing and how they can contribute to it.

There is a big sense of community that we are building through our work at the farm. We also partner with a variety of local conservation organizations and groups that align with our values and are consistently focused on how we can educate today’s younger leaders in the traditional ways of thinking about land, community, and reciprocity.

The month of July is sure to be exciting and full of awesome memories.  I am excited to be part of the experience, learning all about plants and the medicine they offer to us, engaging with our interns and partners, and working to make sure it all  comes together.
