We were excited to celebrate our new partnership with Pudding River WC by working with their team at Coolidge-McClain Park. We have been planning projects with their Director Kurt Benning for about 18 months now. Their latest project is building a small native plant interpretive walk in the natural area at the start of the Salamander Island Trail.

This was a blackberry patch when the project started but they've removed a lot of blackberry and planted native tree/shrub seedlings along the path. We're calling the trail a "Native Plant Discovery Trail", and along the trail we will have small metal signs that identify native plants. Elderberry Wisdom Farm Interns spent a half day on May 1 helping dig blackberry in this natural area.
