Interview with Dr. Aaronda Mayo

Updated: Feb 27

We'd like to introduce our newest staff member, Dr. Aaronda Kay Mayo, with a video interview. Aaronda is a naturopathic doctor and certified herbalist who now serves as Elderberry Wisdom Farm’s Traditional Ecological Knowledge Specialist. She has been working with our interns during this summer’s Habitat Restoration Internship, helping us construct our Native Plant Nursery here at our farm and preparing to plant 250 Blue Elderberry plants this fall. The film, produced by our gifted film producer, Sam Forencich, allows us to introduce Aaronda and also share some of our future plans with our community. Much of the recording was filmed at our two-acre Native Plant Nursery site. We hope you enjoy the messages.
